Well we went to the Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium today. An hour and a half later, Ragan threw a fit, and we left. It was loud and busy, lots of sights and smells, and she was tired, and just too overstimulated to eat and nap. The result was the mother of all temper tantrums. But it was fun while it lasted! We got to see some fun anumals, in pathetically small enclosures. Maybe we'll try again in a couple of years.

Well Sheesh

I spent around an hour writing a HUGE blog post. It was about Peanut, and how he is sick, and how he won't be coming to Redmond with us, and my guilt at that, etc. I clicked "Publish Post"..... and lost my internet connection. It's gone. And you can't write that kind of stuff twice.
Suffice it to say the Vet says moving Peanut to a dry climate at this time in his life is a bad idea. Suggested euthanization. I found that unacceptable. We found a home for him up here. I feel guilty.

Just in case you were curious...

I've decided it's official. I have big floppy pendulious boobs. Yes. PENDULIOUS. I was sitting here, typing away at an e-mail, when I had an itch on my tummy. I scratched, and that's when I realized that my boob had fallen out the bottom of my bra. OUT THE BOTTOM. And of course, the other, smaller sibling was sitting nicely on the her side. I am so disappointed in their preformance thus far. The big flappy one never sits where I put her, and she is constantly pulling the "V" of my v-neck shirts over to her side, the attention whore. "look at me! look at me! I'm MUCH bigger and flappier then HER"
UGH.
So I have decided that when I'm done feeding my babies, I'm replacing the disobedient girls with some well behaved new ones. Both the same size, even. Won't that be nice?

I must say, I have never felt so......... appreciative? unworthy? in awe of motherhood? I'm not sure what word I'm looking for, but if nothing else, the above blog will provide you with some GREAT reading.

It's odd..... Raegan is now 5 months old.
5 months....... that can't be right!
I just got her!
No, wait a minute............. 5 months......... is that all?
Was there life before Raegan?
I vaguely recall ..... something................ Nope.
I have had Raegan forever.
And it turns out, forever is actually five months long.
