Good Lord, I hope so. Dr.D gave the the thumbs up to start drinking gallons of Red Raspberry Leaf Tea as of today, and next Sunday I've got a thumbs up if I want to start some Evening Primrose Oil. He is big, already measures 38 weeks. She said any day now would be fine. So, whenever he is ready. But really, I have no idea when that will be. I aparently have a cervix of steel, and that is the part that needs to just relax.. but since there is no serving my cervix a Margarita, the relaxing will have to happen on it's own. Remember that with Raegan I didn't dialate at ALL till the 2nd day on pitocin, at 4 days past due. I KNOW this one won't last that long, but I really have no clue as to when. No dialation at ALL... We'll see at next wednsdays check-up.
Don't you find it bizarre that we have a time in our lives when we wish for cervical dialation and talk about it freely like it is the latest and coolest gadget?
I remember those days!
Will be praying for a quick and speedy cervix "ripening" (hee hee)
The rational me is still holding out for my due date.. that way Matt can be done with Finals before Kael gets here... I can't imagine studdying will be very productive ( nor will school be very fun) with a brand new baby at home! So.. I may just stick with the tea and let nature do what it's going to do with no encouragment from me. Catch 22.. the older he is when we make the Washington trip the easier, but at the same time, we need Daddy to be here too!
