Yes.. we went to the store and did some testing on big girl car seats.. and shortly realized that one wasn't gonna fit in the car, not unless she promised not to grow any more... we couldn't get her to commit to that. SO.. we went down to the local dealership, just to check out our options.. and left in this car instead of the Kia. Matts car plus a "small fee" ( thank you student loans... 5% not due to pay back for 2 years.. so basically interest free if we can save up enough in the mean time) got us a larger sedan that will happily fit not only a big girl car seat, but four adults as well, or a baby seat should it become necessary. That said, this Mama is researching day care, and I hope to be back to working part time shortly after Rae is a year old.. just to make sure we have the loan amount saved up when it comes time to be paying it all back.
