OK, so I'm not the most creative crayon in the box.... I try. I see so many layouts that I LOVE, but when it comes time for me to use the old noggin' I draw a blank. Hoping the scrapbook convention in March helps with that...
You are doing a good job. My only simple suggestion that actually does a lot fo the page would be to simply cut a piece of paper a smidge bigger than the picture for a "frame". These pages are fine, but I wanted to give you an idea of a place to start. Single frame, double frame, oddly sized frame, like a frame that's 4 1/2 by 7, and then on the long side use 2 brads down the side..... stuff like that. But you are doing just fine. I should have gotten you an idea book to go with your birthday gift. They really do help. Thanks for posting the pics!
