This is the first time in my life I haven't had a pet present in my home. We are going through withdrawals. The neighborhood cats have become an obsession and we have even briefly considered adopting an older kitty ( cats allowed here ) to fill the void, especially since the kids are SO ecstatic when they get near a cat. Raegan got this "Fur Real Friends" kitten for her birthday. A good opportunity to teach the children about pets, to gauge their capabilities, etc.
Hmm... we may be re-thinking that kitty decision.....

Alyca.. they are actually getting MUCH better!! The actual live neighborhood cats always leave their encounters unscathed....
