Sick. Ugh. We took them to the Urgent Care yesterday after another night of non stop vomiting. Kael is down to 19.6 lbs!!!! I am pretty worried about him, it has been over a week now! We got some suppositories to help which did give both of them a few hours "rest" but I am SO ready for them to be well!!

Your poor little babies! It's terrible to watch your babies be sick and you can't really do anything about it! I hope they get to feeling better soon.
Hey, maybe Rotavirus? When my little dude had these symptoms and we took him to the E.R. (I'm sure you remember) we were given a promethazine suspension that made sure we never had to use the suppositories. After two nights of use he was back on track.
I so sorry your little ones are so sick. I am praying that they feel better soon and stop scaring the socks off their very tired mama.

Because of their age they couldn't prescribe an oral medication that would be effective. Remember, at that time they weren't keeping ANYTHING down. They swallow, they barf. The suppositories are making a difference, much less puke now and Raegan is eating again. Kael is eating a little, keeping some down. I think we're on the road to better though. The doc did suggest Rotavirus as well as another one that is going around ( don't remember the name, bad Mama) but either way it didn't matter. Not much you can do for them but treat the symptoms till it passes on it's own.
