Loud & Rowdy: Monster X show

They had a BLAST. We'll definitely be doing this again when it comes through town. But Loud. OMG, Was it loud. We were warned, but the little ear plugs we brought just didn't cut it, we ended up buying the nice ear mufflers at intermission. So now we have to go again, if only to justify that purchase, lol! My favorite part? The mud bogging. Not nearly as *wowza* as the leaping spinning monster trucks, but I could literally *feel* myself inside those trucks gunning and spinning for all I was worth to get through the pit, and leaving the arena jauntily in a thick coating of mud.

More details later as my coffee is.. er...working... but Yesterday we had Raegans parent teacher conference. It went well.

She starts the accelerated program next week.

We won't be skipping a grade because it will all catch up with her in the next few years, but having a teacher BEAM at you then hand you a giant packet of information on your gifted child... I mean, seriously.

The kids both have gobs of dog coat protptypes dressing up their various stuffed buddies... but this one we'll keep! Finally, a pup coat that fits! Now to figure out how to duplicate it but with tighter stiches....

The kids were "dancing" the animals, and while Kael and Stella were cute, I really couldn't help the pang of sympathy I felt for Squeaker. She's old enough to realize how humiliating this is, and Raegan was REALLY getting in to those dance moves some times...

Well, here they are. Our three. Squeaker, Muppet and Stella. I think it's a pretty good mix, and I love how everyone gets along nicely. Doesn't hurt that they are all so damm cute.
