Of all the kids to break a bone, Raegan is at the very bottom of my list of worries. Way to prove me wrong, little lady. A tumble from the loft bed coupled with an awkward landing on the trampoline a few hours later left us with a broken radius. Shweet. 
The good news is she's well behaved enough to get away with a soft cast/splint rather than a traditional hard cast, so our annual family/girls weekend at the coast in two weeks is still on! A real cast at the coast with all the sand would have been a painful disaster. Kid's holding up like a champ, but is super bummed as it's her dominant right hand that's damaged so she's having a hard time drawing now. Fingers crossed for speedy healing, she's got to wear the splint for at least 5 weeks.
