Camping with an entertainment center and a big TV? Seriously. That's the most pimped out tent I've ever seen. Not quite primitive. Glad you had a good time!
No, not camping. More like a tiny studio house on the beach. Full bathroom with tiled floor, standup shower, toilet, etc, kitchen with fridge sink and microwave ( with a propane BBQ outside and a firepit), 3 double beds and a twin, a heater and ceiling fan, etc. It was cheap; $66 a night. We'll do that kind of "camping" from now on till we can afford the pop-up trailer we're aiming for. We were actually musing that if our Christmas vacation was in the middle of the summer how it would be fun to rent out the whole yurt area (6 yurts) and all "camp" together there. It was like a tiny wood chipped street with yurts on either side, maybe 30 feet apart with forest between them. It was cool! I don't have "roughing it" kids. I have "throw myself in the fire and freak out at every sound during the night while freaking out thtat I have to sleep in a huge pocket" kids. Not exactly the tent kind.

What were the bathroom facilities like?? Full meal deal???
Sounds like your camping experience is similar to Davinie's....electricity, actual beds.....roughing it??
What does a yurt run, anyway?? Spendy, or not so much??

We have been talking about adding a summer get-together....maybe this would be a good option.
Where exactly was this?
