The stripes were surprisingly easy! I just taped off the floor and ceiling, found the middle of the room, decided my stripe width, and starting measuring and marking on the tape where I would have my stripes. Then, when hubby got home, he stood on a chair and I knelt on the floor, holding the painters tape tight, and matched up the ceiling mark with the floor mark... VOILA!! Perfectly straight and even stripes. Just paint in the center and you're done! I went with this easy decor because when we move out, all I have to do is lightly sand down the edges of the stripes and paint them the same tan color as the rest of the walls.. move in ready!
I'm having a hard time admiring paint right now, seeing as it is all I have been doing for the last couple weeks, but I am sure this looks great. I, however, will never touch a paintbrush again. Ever. Nor will I spackle, caulk or re-do trim. Never again.

Nice paint job. I really like the stripes, although I am unsure whether I could be patient enough to do it!
