Tahoe..................

OK, so the seller calls me and says "hay, my wife will take it to the mechanic, and this evening you call them and see how it checked out, then we can transfer paperwork here at my work.." So I think GOOD! I drop Matt off at the Dentist to get his wisdom teeth out ( pictures tomorow.. was a hairy nasty surgery) and go to the mechanic shop to talk to the mechanic. well........... needs new rear breaks,coolent leaks.. this and that seem to leak, ac doesn't work, this wiring is old, bla bla bla. To fix all major things wrong is around $2500. So I say no, no Tahoe for us. I leave message for seller to this effect. Seller calls me back..... HE'S gonna pay to take it to a different mechanic, and get a second opinion... then we'll compare notes, get price quotes, and he'll reduce the price to cover those repairs... I think mostly it's the breaks, AC, and coolant issues to fix. the rest of it seems that it would be covered with a regular scheduled maintainance.. all new fluids, etc. So maybe Tahoe after all......... and with all updated innerds! We'll see.
